There is either a defect on the front-end RF input on my particular PVR150 unit, or the RF input has an impedance mis-match problem, resulting in poor antenna sensitivity. This is expected, as the splitter *normally* reduces signal strength slightly.

The signal levels on the Samsung TV show a slight improvement when the antenna line is connected directly to the TV vs going through the splitter (collumn F vs B). The passive (pass-through) RF signal levels from the 150PVR going to the Samsung TV is also higher when the splitter is used (column E vs B).
